Where there is a will, there is a way

“It is time for us to stand and cheer for the doer and the achiever”. These lines hold true for 25 year old Seema, a resident of Shalimar Bagh. She suffers from epilepsy and requires regular treatment. However after the death of her parents, her brothers refused to pay for her treatment.

With no choice, she decided to stand on her feet and completed her studies through distance education program. At the same time, she enrolled herself in Deepalaya’s computer classes. With her eagerness, she completed the course in 4 months and secured a job at a salary of Rs 6,000 pm. She is now paying for her treatment while simultaneously looking after her younger sister.
