Health is very essential for a self reliant and progressive community. Deepalaya believes in preventive care. In addition, to creating awareness on vital health issues, Deepalaya also provides curative services through its various clinics. In a developing country like India where health infrastructure needs reforms, the government is unable to reach the underprivileged of community. Deepalaya steps in to deliver health at their doors through its Mobile Health Units. Issues like reproductive health, immunization, AIDS awareness, related to preventive care are focus areas of Deepalaya health interventions. We need your help to ensure health of underprivileged.

Deepalaya has two health care projects for the disadvantaged communities of Kalkaji region and Mewat. One is the A.P Dewan clinic and the other is in Kalkaji Extension provides referral services and conduct house visits for generating awareness among target people. Also, the Mobile Unit functioning at Mewat includes clinical services, follow up by mobile health vans, visits by health workers, pre & ante natal care by lady doctors, awareness Program towards health and hygiene, counseling for women and girls, immunization Program, school health Program and monthly meeting of the community health volunteers etc.
Through various health related interventions, we have been able to reach out to 64,436 beneficiaries in 76 locations of Delhi's slums.
