Giving back to society is in the ethos and belief system of Amway. Which is why, while Amway India started commercial operations in May 1998, we took our first steps in the social sector in 1996. In India, Amway's social responsibility is looked after by the Amway Opportunity Foundation (AOF), a registered non-profit organization, and all 500 Amway employees, over 2000 indirect employees and 10 lakh plus distributors, are all AOF volunteers.
AOF's National Project for the Visually Challenged, had ensured that 85,000 school-going children, had access to Braille textbooks. AOF has set up 16 computer vocational centres for visually challenged across 17 cities in India.
Under the global One-By-One campaign for children, AOF has joined hands with over 63 orphanages and institutions working for children, and has undertaken to work in education and healthcare. For more details, kindly visit at www.amway.in
