Project Uday, a new initiative started in April 2024 in Belur, West Bengal, with support from B.C. Jindal Foundation. This new initiative by Deepalaya aims to foster academic excellence and holistic development through a Community Library and Coaching Centre for competitive exams for aspirants from low income families.
The library encourages inclusive learning by promoting reading habits and knowledge sharing, especially among girls, women, and youth. It offers a safe and engaging space that nurtures curiosity and intellectual growth.
The coaching centre provides structured support to underprivileged youth preparing for state and central level competitive exams. With expert mentors and accessible resources, the programme ensures financial barriers do not limit potential. Additionally, the project offers life skills and personality development sessions to build confidence, communication, and resilience, guiding students toward a brighter future.
