SENIOR MANAGER – Resource Mobilization will work closely with the Chief Executive and Senior Management Team to develop strategies for effective communication and resource mobilisation for the growth and diversification of the organisation. 

STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP: The incumbent would be responsible for providing strategic leadership in handling the portfolio assigned. He/she would be responsible for carrying out the duties assigned in a manner as envisaged in the vision and mission of Deepalaya. He/she would be coordinating with all departments for developing mechanisms and putting in place those systems essential for effective communication and fund mobilisation. 

RESOURCE MANAGEMENT: Being a leader of the team, the responsibility of the incumbent would be to find and acquire resources from corporates/sponsors for the implementation of Deepalaya’s programs. Specific responsibilities will be: –

  • Preparing proposals for various programs and presenting them to the corporates/ sponsors.
  • Anticipating future funding restrictions and adopting strategies to avoid fund shortages.

SENIOR MANAGER – RESOURCE MOBILIZATION would be broadly acting as a link between Deepalaya and fund providers. He/she would be required to give managerial insights to the Senior Management Team. In tune with the strategic plan, the incumbent is expected to review the progress achieved and take up tasks which remain to be accomplished.

KEY DELIVERABLES:

  • Mobilising resources from the resource providers/corporates, using different innovative mechanisms.
  • Building and maintaining viable relationships with the Donors & Agencies.
  • Understanding how messages of social change are spread through different platforms.
  • Finding new ways of sponsorship for the education of children.
  • Developing new programs with new funding partners.
  • Meeting with program managers in the organisation to develop strategic plans.
  • Strengthening partnerships to raise public awareness and promote advocacy.
  • Enhancing the Deepalaya brand, its effectiveness and visibility as a resource organisation. 

COMPETENCIES: 

  • Excellent creative drafting & communication skills, including the ability to represent the organisation at various forums and events; 
  • Comprehensive understanding of the development sector.

QUALIFICATIONS: Master in Social Work or relevant field. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Resource Mobilization in the social development sector.
