Job Summary

The Manager – Resource Mobilization will work closely with the Senior Management Team (including the Sr. Manager – Resource Mobilization and Executive Director) to bridge institutional goals with funding execution. The incumbent will be responsible for diversifying funding streams across domestic corporate CSR, International foundations/foreign funding, High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNIs), and digital/online fundraising campaigns. The tole requires preparing high-impact grant proposals, building and sustaining major donor relationships, managing compliance, and leading digital and local fundraising initiatives to ensure the steady growth and financial stability of Deepalaya’s programs.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

a. Fundraising Strategy & Execution

• Formulate and implement tactical annual resource mobilization plans under the guidance of senior leadership to achieve organizational financial targets across institutional, major donor and digital channels.
• Identify, target, and acquire new resources and sponsorships from corporates, international grant-making organizations, foundations, and partner agencies for Deepalaya’s programs.
• Evaluate fundraising market trends to design and execute effective multichannel fundraising campaigns, products, and local events/exhibitions.

b. Proposal Development & Grant Writing

• Collaborate with internal Program Managers to design new programs and draft compelling concept notes, grant proposals, and application packages.
• Manage end-to-end marketing of proposals, pitch deck presentations, and rigorous follow-ups with corporate donors and funding agencies.
• Brainstorm with management and project teams on the viability, implementation plans, and budget requirements of proposed social interventions.

c. Foreign Funding & International Institutional Grants

• Prospect, research and map international foundation opportunities, multilateral agencies, global NGOs and foreign philanthropic bodies aligned with FCRA guidelines.
• Lead end-to-end grant management for foreign donors-from proposal writing and budget design to multi-year reporting, impact measurement and compliance fulfilment.

d. HNI & Major Donor Relations

• Develop and execute a structured stewardship strategy for High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNIs), Ultra-HNIs, family offices and legacy donors.
• Create personalized pitch materials, philanthropy plans and bespoke project proposals for high-value individual giving and major donor acquisition.
• Organize exclusive networking events, roundtable discussions and site visits to engage prospective HNI donors and convert long-term relationships into recurring contributions.

e. Donor Relationship & Partnership Management

• Act as a reliable liaison between Deepalaya and external funding partners/donors.

f. Digital & Social Media Fundraising

• Lead the strategy, development and growth of online grant giving platforms, including crowdfunding platforms, social media campaigns and direct-to-donor digital drives.
• Collaborate with digital marketing and communication teams to execute targeted performance marketing campaigns, social media appeals and email marketing for recurring giving programs.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Master’s in Business Administration (MBA), Marketing Management / Degree in Social Work (MSW), Development Studies, Communication, or related fields.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant work experience in resource mobilization, corporate fundraising, CSR relations, or business development within the social development sector.
• Track Record: Proven track record in securing corporate CSR & Foreign / HNI funding, writing winning grant proposals, and managing donor portfolios.

• Teach subjects such as English, Mathematics, Environmental Studies/EVS, Hindi, and General Awareness, as applicable.
• Use activity-based, experiential, and child-centred teaching methodologies.
• Conduct regular class tests, assessments, and other activities to monitor students’ learning progress.
• Identify children who require additional academic support and provide remedial and individualized teaching.
• Encourage children’s creativity, curiosity, critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment.
• Manage classroom discipline using positive and child-friendly approaches.
• Monitor students’ attendance, academic performance, behaviour, and overall development.
• Maintain accurate academic records, assessment reports, attendance registers, and other documentation.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding children’s progress and areas requiring support.
• Promote awareness among students regarding personal hygiene, health, cleanliness, safety, values, and responsible behaviour.
• Encourage participation in co-curricular activities, sports, art, cultural programmes, competitions, and community activities.
• Work closely with other teachers, project staff, and management to improve students’ learning outcomes.
• Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, teacher-training programmes, workshops and school events.
• Support programmes and initiatives related to child development, education, inclusion, and community engagement.
• Follow organizational policies relating to child safeguarding, child protection, safety, and professional conduct.
• Undertake any other responsibilities assigned by the Principal, Centre Head, or Project Coordinator.

Educational Qualifications

• Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.
• D.El.Ed./Diploma in Elementary Education or B.Ed. from a recognized institution.
• CTET/TET qualification will be an added advantage, wherever applicable.
• Candidates should have good proficiency in English and/or the local language as required.

Experience

• 1–2 years of teaching experience at the primary level is preferred.
• Experience working in an NGO, community school, low-income community, or social development programme will be an added advantage.
• Freshers with relevant qualifications and a strong interest in teaching may also be considered.
