The six month courses in Beauty Culture and Fashion Designing not only enhanced their skills but opened doors to new marketable opportunities. The ceremony was graced by Adv. Dr. K.C. George, Secretary and Chief Executive, Deepalaya, along with the senior management team who honored the students with certificates and heartfelt encouragement for their future.

Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM), District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) visited Deepalaya Children Home On 27th August 2025, the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM), District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) visited Deepalaya Children Home. During the visit, the CJM interacted warmly with the children, encouraged them in their studies, and highlighted the importance of education for their future. As a token of care and motivation, the CJM distributed school back bags to all the children. The children were very happy and felt inspired by the kind gesture. Honouring Delhi’s New Commissioner of Police Adv. Dr. K C George, Secretary & Chief Executive, Deepalaya, had the privilege of meeting and greeting Sh. S B K Singh, IPS, the newly appointed Commissioner of Police, Delhi. As a token of respect and warmth, we presented him with a collection of handmade items by the specially-abled children of our Project Sambhav and the women from our Project Pehal, a livelihood program in rural Haryana. Sh. Singh was touched with this thoughtful gesture and expressed his appreciation for the work being carried out by Deepalaya to empower children, women, and underprivileged communities. Sh. S B K Singh’s journey and dedication to public service can be a true inspiration for Deepalaya children, motivating them to grow into responsible, confident, and compassionate citizens of tomorrow. A morning filled with patriotism, pride, and powerful life lessons! Adv. Dr. K C George, Secretary & Chief Executive, Deepalaya had the privilege of being the Chief Guest at the Independence Day Special Assembly at Ryan International School, Mayur Vihar. Speaking to a hall full of bright, eager young minds, Dr. George encouraged them to live with social values, use their time wisely, and remember their responsibility towards their parents, giving back through sincerity, dedication, and meaningful contributions to their parents, school, society, and the nation. He also spoke about the Preamble to the Constitution and how its essence, justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity, can guide our daily actions and decisions. On a subject close to our hearts, mental health, Dr. George shared ways to manage anxiety, anger, and embarrassment with resilience and self-awareness. He reminded the children how fortunate they are to live a privileged life, and how empathy for the underprivileged will help them grow into not just successful, but deeply responsible citizens. The celebration itself was a joy to witness, every detail had been thoughtfully planned: from the impressive NCC cadet reception to the multilingual welcome speech, the beautifully sung Preamble, and a vibrant array of cultural performances that reflected both talent and patriotism. Our heartfelt thanks to Principal Ms. Rajini Anil Kumar and the incredible team of teachers and organisers for creating such a welcoming and impactful platform to connect with the future of our country. May we continue working together to build a generation that is compassionate, confident, and committed to a better tomorrow.
