PROJECT SUNSHINE

Youth Development

Igniting The Aspirations Through Learning and Recreation

Project Sunshine started in April 2022 with support from the B.C. Jindal Foundation. The initiative addresses the educational and recreational needs of the community in Nalwa, Hisar, Haryana. Despite having a strong educational foundation, the community lacked adequate leisure activities.

In response to detailed surveys and community needs, the project established a Community Library, offering free access for over 7,800 books of various genres. The project has engaged more than 1,500 library users since its inception. Another significant component of Project Sunshine is its coaching for state level competitive exams, aimed at preparing students and youth. This initiative has successfully linked over 550 aspirants to the project, providing them with the necessary resources and academic guidance.
