A morning filled with patriotism, pride, and powerful life lessons! Adv. Dr. K C George, Secretary & Chief Executive, Deepalaya had the privilege of being the Chief Guest at the Independence Day Special Assembly at Ryan International School, Mayur Vihar. Speaking to a hall full of bright, eager young minds, Dr. George encouraged them to live with social values, use their time wisely, and remember their responsibility towards their parents, giving back through sincerity, dedication, and meaningful contributions to their parents, school, society, and the nation. He also spoke about the Preamble to the Constitution and how its essence, justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity, can guide our daily actions and decisions. On a subject close to our hearts, mental health, Dr. George shared ways to manage anxiety, anger, and embarrassment with resilience and self-awareness. He reminded the children how fortunate they are to live a privileged life, and how empathy for the underprivileged will help them grow into not just successful, but deeply responsible citizens. The celebration itself was a joy to witness, every detail had been thoughtfully planned: from the impressive NCC cadet reception to the multilingual welcome speech, the beautifully sung Preamble, and a vibrant array of cultural performances that reflected both talent and patriotism. Our heartfelt thanks to Principal Ms. Rajini Anil Kumar and the incredible team of teachers and organisers for creating such a welcoming and impactful platform to connect with the future of our country. May we continue working together to build a generation that is compassionate, confident, and committed to a better tomorrow.

Teacher Training Session for DSKE & DSSSG Teachers On 30 June 2025, Secretary and CE of Deepalaya Advocate Dr. K.C. George, led an engaging session for 107 teachers from both schools – DSKE and DSSSG. The key areas that the informative session addressed were self-motivation, mental well-being, interpersonal relationships, and child protection, including awareness on POCSO and child sexual abuse. Through interactive and engaging activities like dance and open discussions, energy and reflection were added to the participants. Career Counselling, Aptitude Test and Personality Test for Students of Class XI and XII A meaningful Motivational Workshop was held at Deepalaya Senior Secondary School in Gusbethi for both parents as well as students of Classes XI and XII. The session saw participation from 60 students and 30 parents, focusing on career guidance and the importance of parental involvement in shaping young futures. The workshop featured inspiring sessions by Adv. Dr K C George, Secretary and Chief Executive of Deepalaya, and counselling psychologist Ms Sanya Kakkar, who conducted an aptitude-based career counselling session. The program had some special invitees including Ms. Meera from the District Programme Office and Mrs. Vikal Lohia from the Department of Women and Child Development who addressed adolescent mental health, hygiene, and nurturing growth. Block Education Officer, Mr. Vijay Parteek Dhankar delivered a motivating message, encouraging students to stay focused and confident.

Nari Shakti Graduation Ceremony Titron On 1st August 2025, a certificate ceremony was held for Nari Shakti batch at Titron on their course completion. Deepalaya Secretary and Chief Executive, Adv. Dr. K.C. George, along with the senior management team, awarded the students. The students were appreciated and acknowledged for completing a six-month vocational course in Beauty Culture and Fashion Designing, and also start-up kits were distributed to celebrate their journey towards self-reliance. The team under the leadership of the CEO visited the Beauty Parlour established by Ms. Rashmi, a young woman entrepreneur who completed a beautician course in the last batch from Deepalaya. Self sustainable livelihood initiative as a result of the training undergone at Deepalaya, paving the way in the enterprise development. The central team of Deepalaya also interacted with the village leaders on education, vocational skills and other developmental and child protection activities, enabling the children of Titron for a safe and secure childhood and become educated citizens of the country.
