The team of 40 members actively participated by assembling 400 kits for the students of the Learning centre along with engaging with Deepalaya Sr. Sec. School students through interactive skits and sessions on communication skills. The initiative not only supported students with essential health supplies but also build their soft skills through interactive activities.

Cervical Cancer and HPV Vaccine awareness session for 400 women and students. Follow us on social media Deepalaya, in collaboration with All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) conducted a mass awareness drive on sensitising parents and children on Cervical Cancer and HPV Vaccine. Under the government initiative Swasthya Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan, this program that educated 400 women and girls was held today at Deepalaya School, Kalkaji Extension. The resource persons for the program Mr. Mathew Varghese (from Preventive Oncology, IRCH, AIIMS, New Delhi) and Adv. Dr. K C George, CEO Deepalaya and Former Joint Director (NIPCCD) & Women and Child Development (MWCD), motivated the participants to safeguard themselves from Cervical Cancer which is the leading cause of cancer mortality among women.

The six month courses in Beauty Culture and Fashion Designing not only enhanced their skills but opened doors to new marketable opportunities. The ceremony was graced by Adv. Dr. K.C. George, Secretary and Chief Executive, Deepalaya, along with the senior management team who honored the students with certificates and heartfelt encouragement for their future.

Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM), District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) visited Deepalaya Children Home On 27th August 2025, the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM), District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) visited Deepalaya Children Home. During the visit, the CJM interacted warmly with the children, encouraged them in their studies, and highlighted the importance of education for their future. As a token of care and motivation, the CJM distributed school back bags to all the children. The children were very happy and felt inspired by the kind gesture. Honouring Delhi’s New Commissioner of Police Adv. Dr. K C George, Secretary & Chief Executive, Deepalaya, had the privilege of meeting and greeting Sh. S B K Singh, IPS, the newly appointed Commissioner of Police, Delhi. As a token of respect and warmth, we presented him with a collection of handmade items by the specially-abled children of our Project Sambhav and the women from our Project Pehal, a livelihood program in rural Haryana. Sh. Singh was touched with this thoughtful gesture and expressed his appreciation for the work being carried out by Deepalaya to empower children, women, and underprivileged communities. Sh. S B K Singh’s journey and dedication to public service can be a true inspiration for Deepalaya children, motivating them to grow into responsible, confident, and compassionate citizens of tomorrow.
